Race of the Illyrians

This was the first official race organized by Illyrius, at Kartodrom Pogradec, with about 30 racers participating.

An intense race full of action, won by Klajdi Kodra followed by Frenkli Mema and Gentjan Shaqiri.

 

In November 2019, Race of the Illyrians goes to Podgorica. A thrilling race won by Erjus Tufa followed by Indri Hoxha and Frenkli Mema, with a difference of less than 0.1 seconds between them.

 

October 2020 brings another Race of the Illyrians, this time to Kartodrom Tirana, where over 40 racers competed in an action-packed race. This race was organized in collaboration with Automobile Club Albania and was valid for the 2020 National Karting Championship.

The race was won by Xhino Peci followed by Erjus Tufa and Gentian Shaqiri.

 

In November 2021, Race of the Illyrians hits the streets. Race of the Illyrians was no longer just a Go Kart race, but a fierce battle among dozens of pilots. An event that concluded with the race of @supermotoalbania, entertaining thousands of spectators present.

 

In March 2022, another Race of the Illyrians takes place. The spectacle filled the square with spectators where all the racers were in a time battle against each other.

A race that welcomed at least 50 selected racers from over 100 applications, which was won for the second consecutive time by Gentian Kulla with Honda Civic EP3 (Pro category).

The spectacle was finalized with the race of @supermotoalbania.

 

March 2023, spectacle in the square. Another Race of the Illyrians comes to Mother Teresa Square, full of adrenaline.

Thousands of spectators closely followed the race where over 40 racers participated in two categories.

The race was won by Ervin Kosova, setting a new track record.

The Race of the Illyrians is a two-day event that will place on May 11th and 12th, 2024. On the first day, racers will compete against the clock to secure their position for the main event Sunday. On Sunday, racers will compete against each other in a Dual Track race. The winner will be determined by the fastest time.
